“I’d like to think my personal style is suave, comforting and captivatingly aromatic! Just how I like my flowers.”
ERIC UNDERWOOD

What are your favourite flowers and why? White or colour? And what colour?

Definitely white and green. Simple yet vivid and full of vibrance! My favourites would be the Arum Lilies and the Lily of the Valley.

Do these flowers have significance in your life? Signify a moment from your past? A favourite of your mother’s? Or given to you by a partner?

Both types of lilies are delicate yet aesthetically pleasing. To me, they represent tranquility and I find that they have an innate ability to blend well with a multitude of environments. Those are also qualities I hope to embody in my life as well.

What are your favourite vase styles/shapes?

There’s a particular grandeur about Tall floor vases that I find very attractive.

What are your tips for arranging flowers for a dinner party? Or for your house for any occasion?

When arranging flowers for your home I would suggest following the example of a pro. I was at the British Fashion awards and saw the beautiful arrangement on my table done by FLOWERBX, which I’ll try my best to replicate for a dinner party this weekend.Wish me luck!

How does your flower choice reflect your personal style? And your interior style?

I’d like to think my personal style is suave, comforting and captivatingly aromatic!Just how I like my flowers.

What are the most beautiful or significant flowers that you’ve ever been given?

I was once given a single yellow rose by a fan of my work at the Royal Opera House, who said that the flower represented “hope and passion,” which I found absolutely delightful.

What is your most powerful memory involving flowers and scent?

I remember once during childhood coming home to a living room full of ruby red roses for my mother. I think it was my first ever memory of Valentine’s Day. I was quite awe-struck and whenever I smell roses, I’m instantly reminded of that day and feel transported back to my childhood home.

and flowers dotted around,
it’s quite uplifting.”

How does having flowers in your home change the atmosphere? How does being surrounded by flowers make you feel?

Having flowers and plants in your house is hugely important. They breathe life and vitality into your home. Luckily my home has plenty of large windows that bring in an abundance of light. I love to have plants and flowers dotted around, it’s quite uplifting.

What flowers do you most like to give and why?

I mostly like to give roses as everyone loves a dozen of unexpected roses. There really isn’t anything like it.

What flowers would you most like to be given and why?

My favourites (Arum Lily and Lily of the Valley) would be fantastic but it’s wonderful to receive flowers from someone. It shows that they have placed a lot of care and time in choosing something beautiful to join you and take pride of place at home.
