The DETAILS

To help your astilbe stems last for longer:
- Recut each stem at a sharp 45-degree diagonal angle on arrival
- Remove all excess foliage which would sit below the waterline in your vase
- Keep your flowers in a cooler area, away from direct heat, sunlight and draughts
- Remember to change the water in your vase regularly and add the flower food provided
- If stems begin to drop, re-cut each stem with a fresh diagonal cut and add tepid water. This will help re-hydrate your flowers and clear any small blockages in the stem

The Astilbe is a medium length stem (measurement approximate).

On receiving your flowers, unwrap them and recut the stems at a 45° angle to encourage water absorption and maximum vase life.

Remove any foliage that would otherwise be below the waterline and place in cool, clean water.

Most flowers will perform best if kept in temperatures between 10 and 15°c and will benefit from the use of flower food and regularly changing the water.

It is advisable to keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and/or drafts.

As flowers are a natural product, there may be a variation in size and colour throughout the season.
